Data & Cookie Policy
Listley · Operated by Riptag LLC
Last updated June 1, 2026
This Data & Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies the Listley website uses, and the data the Listley browser extension collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It supplements and is incorporated into our Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use a small number of them, grouped below by purpose.
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Can you disable? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep you logged in, maintain your session, and secure the site. The Service won’t work properly without these. | Authentication/session tokens used by our login provider. | No (required to use the Service) |
| Affiliate attribution | Record which affiliate referred you so commissions and any referral discount apply correctly. | FirstPromoter referral cookie (e.g., _fprom_tid / _fprom_ref). | Yes (decline or clear cookies) |
| Functional / preferences | Remember choices such as display settings. | Local settings stored in your browser. | Yes |
We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or to build advertising profiles. We do not run ad networks on the Service.
2. The Affiliate Referral Cookie
When you arrive through an affiliate link, our affiliate provider (FirstPromoter) sets a cookie containing a random tracking identifier and the affiliate’s code. If you later subscribe, this lets us attribute the sale to the referring affiliate and apply any referral discount. The identifier is a random value; it is not used to track you across unrelated websites for advertising. Under some state privacy laws this attribution may be considered “sharing.” To opt out, decline or clear cookies, or email riptagco@gmail.com (see Section 6).
3. Managing Cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you block or remove them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from logging in or using core features. Where we offer a cookie control or banner, you can use it to decline non-essential cookies.
4. Data the Listley Extension Collects and Uses
This section describes the extension’s data practices, including the disclosures required by the Chrome Web Store.
4.1 Single purpose
The single purpose of the Listley extension is to help a Depop seller manage and automate tasks on their own Depop store (such as relisting, refreshing, following/unfollowing, sending and accepting offers, messaging, and related analytics).
4.2 Data the extension handles
| Data type | Why it is used |
|---|---|
| Account email + authentication token | To sign you in and confirm your subscription status. |
| Depop username and user ID | To identify your store and perform the actions you request on it. |
| Your store’s listing and offer data (read on your behalf) | To run the tools you choose (e.g., relist items, send/accept offers). |
| Feature usage and internal limit counters | To provide features and enforce plan limits and account-safety controls. |
| Basic diagnostic/log data | To detect and fix errors and protect against abuse. |
4.3 Limited Use commitment
Listley’s use of information received through the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use the data only to provide and improve the single-purpose, user-facing features described above; we do not sell user data; we do not use or transfer it for personalized advertising; and we do not use it for creditworthiness or lending purposes. We transfer data to others only as needed to provide the Service, to comply with law, to protect against fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger or acquisition consistent with our Privacy Policy.
Google API data: Listley’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4.4 Permissions and why we request them
- Access to depop.com pages (host permission): so the extension can read your store and perform the tasks you request on Depop, in your browser.
- Access to listley.ai (externally connectable): so the website can securely sign you in to the extension (single sign-on).
- Storage: to keep your session and settings in your browser.
We request the narrowest permissions needed to provide the Service. The extension does not collect your browsing history or activity on unrelated websites.
5. Where Your Data Goes
Account and subscription data is stored with our processors — Supabase (database/authentication), Stripe (payments), and FirstPromoter (affiliate attribution) — each acting on our behalf to provide the Service. We do not sell your data. See the Privacy Policy for the full list and for security and retention details.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can manage cookies in your browser, decline non-essential cookies, and exercise privacy rights (access, deletion, correction, and opt-out of “sale”/“sharing” where applicable) by emailing riptagco@gmail.com. For affiliate-tracking opt-out, use the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.” We honor browser Global Privacy Control / “Do Not Track” signals where required by law.
7. Children
The Service is for users 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 through cookies or the extension. See the Privacy Policy for more.
8. Changes
We may update this Data & Cookie Policy as our practices or the technologies we use change. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where appropriate.
